A UK government advisor has stated that “Drinking bottled water should be made as unfashionable as smoking.”
- a litre bottle of Evian or Volvic generates up to 600 times more CO2 than a litre of tap water
- drinking a bottle of water has the same impact on the environment as driving a car for a kilometre
I still have a hard time with the idea of drinking tap water when the taste of chlorine is so overpowering… but they have a point.

Rule of Thumb: Avoid this Scam
They are a scam. They are almost never called on and in the event you do, usually the cost of repairs would have been less than the extended warranty.
